All within 3000 × 1500 mm board size

Metals

  • Aluminium & Colorbond — letters, panels, lightbox faces.
  • Stainless & mild steel — cut letters, plates, brackets.
  • Corten (selected jobs) — feature panels and signage.

Plastics & composites

  • Acrylic — letters, faces, logos and decor panels.
  • Foam PVC / Forex — flat signs, displays and POS.
  • ACM — sign panels, tray blanks and fascias.
  • Polycarbonate & PETG — screens and protective panels.

Panels, foams & boards

  • Corflute — printed and blank panels up to 10 mm.

Why signage & display teams work with us

Set up as a cutting back-end

We specialise in being the cutting partner behind sign shops and agencies — you keep the client relationship and finishing, we handle precise, repeatable cutting on boards up to 3000 × 1500 mm.

One supplier for metals, plastics and panels

From metal letters and acrylic faces to Foam PVC panels and corflute signs, we can cut most of the flat parts in a typical signage rollout under one roof, simplifying purchasing and logistics.

Realistic lead times, not guesswork

We quote lead times based on actual capacity and typical sign workloads, so you can book installers and printing with confidence instead of chasing urgent re-cuts later.

More about signage & display cutting

Open the items below for more detail on signage cutting, display cutting and best practice when designing parts for laser, CNC and knife cutting.

For cut letters and logos, avoid ultra-thin strokes and tiny internal gaps, especially on small sizes. As a rule of thumb, keep minimum stroke width around 1–1.5× material thickness for durable, easy-to-install parts. If you're unsure, send artwork and we'll flag any risky areas before cutting.

Large faces and panels are usually broken into sections that fit within 3000 × 1500 mm boards. Allow for joins, overlaps or framing details in your design so panel seams line up cleanly and are easy to install on-site.

We pack cut signage parts to protect edges and faces, but once on site they should be handled as finished components. For acrylic and painted metals, we recommend keeping protective films on until the last possible moment to avoid scratches during installation.

Most signage & display cutting jobs dispatch in 1–5 business days once drawings, materials and quantities are confirmed. Larger campaigns or multi-material jobs can take longer, but we'll confirm realistic timeframes up front so you can coordinate print, fabrication and install.

DXF/DWG preferred; AI/SVG/PDF (vector) accepted; STEP for context. Units in mm; outline text; remove duplicates/overlaps; include key dimensions. Upload via the instant quote.

Whether you need a single feature piece or a full signage rollout, our fibre laser, CO₂ laser, CNC router and digital knife workflows are set up for trade-quality results and predictable lead times on boards up to 3000 × 1500 mm. Upload your files or contact us to plan your next signage & display cutting job.

Typical applications include cut letters and logos, illuminated signage faces, wayfinding panels, retail displays, exhibition graphics, POS units and architectural features. We work with signmakers, shopfitters, designers and direct clients across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

FAQ

We regularly cut acrylic, aluminium composite panel, PVC foamboard, corflute, Colourbond, aluminium, stainless steel, timber, foamboard and self-adhesive vinyl. If your project uses a more specialised substrate we can usually test cut a sample first.

We specialise in cutting flat signage components only. We do not supply frames, posts, lightboxes or install on site. Our main clients are signwriters, shopfitters and builders who handle printing, fabrication and installation themselves.

For most signage materials you can expect around ±0.2–0.5 mm, tighter on metals and acrylic, slightly looser on foams and softer boards. For inlays and push-through letters we design the clearances around the material and finish being used.

Our standard bed size is up to 3000 × 1500 mm. Larger signs are produced in multiple panels with joins designed into the artwork, which is standard practice for fascia signs and long runs.

Yes, we can supply flat panels cut and UV-printed, or cut-only components ready for your own print and finishing workflow. Let us know whether you want panels supplied blank, printed only, or printed and cut.

Vector files work best: DXF, DWG, AI, EPS, SVG or PDF with outlined fonts. Include clear dimensions and note which lines are cut-through, crease, score or print. If you do not have vector files we can help convert artwork from other formats.

Our cutting envelope is based around boards up to 3000 × 1500 mm, which covers common sheet sizes in metals, plastics, ACM, Foam PVC and corflute. Larger signs can usually be tiled or panelised across multiple boards and joined on site.

Our focus on this side of the business is cutting flat parts. We often work alongside sign shops and print houses who handle printing and finishing. On selected jobs we can coordinate print and cut workflows — if that’s important, mention it in your enquiry so we can confirm what’s practical.

For outdoor signage, ACM, aluminium, Colorbond, stainless and certain plastics (acrylic, polycarbonate, PETG) are common. Foam PVC and corflute are better for short- to medium-term use. Tell us where the sign is going and how long it needs to last and we’ll advise a practical material choice.

For cutting, DXF/DWG, AI, EPS or SVG work well. For printed work that needs cutting afterwards, print-ready PDF with clearly marked cut paths is ideal. Keep geometry 1:1 in millimetres, outline fonts and indicate material and board size (up to 3000 × 1500 mm) so we can nest efficiently.

Pricing depends on material, thickness, cut length, engraving (if any), nesting yield and quantities. Mixed jobs that combine metals, acrylic, Foam PVC and corflute are priced by material and process. Larger runs and repeat campaigns almost always deliver better unit pricing than one-offs.
